It has been signed by more than 20 members of the World Series winning team. The most notable signature is from Walter Johnson, who signed the sweet spot of the baseball. The ball is also signed by Roger Peckinpaugh, Bennie Tate, Paul Zahniser, Earl McNeely, Tom Zachary, Goose Goslin, and others. The 1924 World Series title was the first in Washington's history.
