A framed lithograph of the fourth hole at Baltusrol signed by iconic golf course architect Robert Trent Jones. The piece is 18x24" and is enclosed in a 22x28" frame. The image was originally painted in watercolor by Richard Elmore and Jones has signed the piece in the lower left-hand corner in blue ink. The lot will include a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA verifying the signature. Baltusrol, in Springfield, New Jersey, was originally founded in 1895 in Springfield, New Jersey. Jones was hired to lengthen the course for tournament play in 1948. Jones, an iconic figure in the golf world, passed away in 2000 at the age of 93.
