A Philadelphia Flyers number 25 jersey worn during the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals by left wing Shjon Podein. The interior collar tag shows that the size 54 jersey was made by Nike and there is an additional Authentic Collection Center Ice tag. The jersey shows a 1997 Stanley Cup patch sewn into the left chest and includes a fight strap and an alternate captain patch has been removed. The garment shows excellent signs of wear with slash marks, pilling and abrasions. Known for his outstanding job on the penalty kill, Podein played in the NHL from 1992 through 2003. He had his best season in 2000-01, winning the King Clancy Award for leadership and helping the Colorado Avalanche capture the Stanley Cup title.
