Displayed is a 2001 Raghib "Rocket" Ismael game used, signed, white nylon Dallas Cowboys jersey. Ismail was a consensus All-American wide receiver at Notre Dame, and after his college career, he chose to sign a then-record professional contract of $4.55 million a year with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. In his first season with Toronto, Ismail helped the Argonauts to the CFL Championship in the Grey Cup Game and also won the Grey Cup Game MVP. After playing for the Argonauts through the 1992 season, Ismail played in the NFL: Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders (1993-95), Carolina Panthers (1996-98), and Dallas Cowboys (1999-2001). For his NFL career, Ismail had 363 pass receptions for 5,295 yards and 28 receiving touchdowns. For the 2001 season when the offered jersey was game worn, Ismail had 53 receptions for 834 yards and two touchdowns.

The offered jersey has a collar tag reading "01-44," showing the year and jersey size. An NFL patch is at the neck. The mesh jersey has "81" in blue sewn-on numerals on the front. Each sleeve has "81" in blue, sewn-on numerals and a sewn-on Reebok tag. The outside left tail has a sewn-on Reebok tag, with an adjacent size "44" tag. On back is a sewn-on white nameplate with sewn-on blue numerals reading, "ISMAIL." Beneath the nameplate is "81" in sewn-on blue numerals. On the numeral "8," in silver marker, Ismail has inscribed "2001 Final Season," and on the adjacent numeral "1," Ismail has signed, also in silver marker, as "Raghib 'Rocket' Ismail" and added his number "81." The offering comes with a special, 8x10", vivid color photo of Rocket Ismail, with his final 2001 receiving statistics imprinted on the photo. The jersey shows light use and it is in EXCELLENT condition.
