Original Type I photograph capturing Dodgers catcher Roy Campanella in 1956. The image captures Campanella showing the cameraman his swollen right thumb, which has been hindering his play up to that point. An "International News Photos" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with the original paper news caption, dated "7-25-56." The photo (7x9") displays a small tear along the lower right border that has been repaired with clear tape on the reverse, as well as several light creases. Encapsulated as Type I Authentic by PSA.
