This collection commemorates the 1931 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals and includes World Series programs, signed items, a World Series ticket, and an original 1931 World Series photo. 1) 1931 Philadelphia A's World Series Program. Scored in black ink to record a 3-0 A's win in Game 4. 8.5x11". VG, with a vertical fold. 2) 1931 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Program. Scored in pencil to record a 4-2 Cardinals win in Game 7. 9x11.75". GD-VG, with a horizontal fold. 3) Original news photo capturing Frankie Frisch stealing second base in Game 4 of the 1931 World Series at Philadelphia. An "International News Photo" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with a "Central Press Association" stamp. The original paper news caption, dated "10-6-31," is affixed to the reverse by two pieces of clear tape. This photo was once part of the famous "George Michael Collection" and bears a George Michael hologram label on the reverse. 10x8". GD-VG, with a chip in the lower right corner, a small edge tear, a few minor creases, and tape residue on the reverse. 4) 1931 World Series Game 5 Ticket Stub. Encapsulated and graded GOOD 2 by PSA. 5x2.5". This piece was once mounted in a frame and the PSA holder displays adhesive residue on the reverse as a result of its former mounting.  5) Jessie Haines Signed Real-Photo Postcard. Signed by Haines on the front in black ink (grading 7/10). Encapsulated by PSA, with the signature certified as "Authentic." 3.5x5.25". EX, with Haines' name written in ink on the reverse. This piece was once mounted in a frame and the PSA holder displays adhesive residue on the reverse as a result of its former mounting. 6) Frankie Frisch Signed Magazine Photo. Inscribed "The Old Flash/Frankie Frisch" in blue ink (grading 10/10) on the front. Encapsulated by PSA, with the signature certified as "Authentic." 3.75x6.5". EX.
