This lot features a 1952 Topps Baseball #312 Jackie Robinson card. This card has been graded and encapsulated by SGC GD+ 2.5. This card is the first Topps card that Jackie Robinson was printed on. At first glance, this card gives off the VG-EX to EX condition, as the eye appeal on this example is incredible. The centering is excellent, which is uncommon for this set as a lot of cards from the 1952 Topps set were printed off center. In fact, the last SGC 2.5 to sell publicly had centering around 80-20. This example's centering is just a hair off top to bottom. The top left corner is relatively sharp, while the other 3 corners show a little bit of wear. There is a light wrinkle that starts in the "B" in Robinson's cap that flows downwards and to the left. There is also a light corner crease on the bottom right corner. The red background remains extremely bold and bright with almost "no snow" on any spot in the background. This is a top tier example of an SGC 2.5.
