2005 Gary Sheffield signed and inscribed home run #455 bat. This black Rawlings bat measures 34.5" long and is taped at the knob end. It shows outstanding signs of use including ball marks on the barrel, pine tar on the handle and tape, and a small handle crack. Sheffield signed the barrel of the bat with a thin silver Sharpie maker. He wrote the following below his name: "Career Homerun #455 9/30/06 vs. Toronto Blue Jays/Pitcher Shaun Marcum." A "Sheff Authenticated" hologram sticker is affixed to the end of the barrel. Sheffield played for 8 teams from 1988 to 2009. This bat was used by Sheffield when he played for the Yankees. Sheffield finished his career with 509 home runs. Bat was manufactured in 2005 and was a carry over into the 2006 season. Bat has been graded GU 10 by PSA and comes with a full LOA for use.
