This lot features (3) Official 1994 World Series Official Baseballs signed by Alex Popox, and Patrick Hayashi. These were the two Barry Bonds Superfans in the stands that fought over catching Barry Bonds' 74th Home Run ball. In fact, this fight went so deep, it went all the way to Superior Court. This dispute was all about who actually had rightful ownership of the estimated $1 million + baseball. Popov sued Hayashi in this dispute as he believed that once the ball touched his glove, the baseball was automatically his. However, Hayashi touched the ball and became in possession of it after a group of "wrongdoers attacked" Popov. The court eventually decided after 18 months that both parties would sell the ball and split the proceeds evenly. All 3 of these baseballs have been signed by Popov and Hayashi so collectors could forever remember one of the most unusual disputes by fans in the history of baseball.
