The white flannel jersey features the name "Cardinals" embroidered on the front within the design of the club's logo (two birds perched on either end of a bat). The number "28" is featured on the reverse in red on navy felt. A "Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel" label and adjacent "44" size tag appear on the left front tail. Both the player's name and year, "Cunningham 57," are chain-stitched in red directly below the Rawlings label. A laundry tag and an adjacent flag tag reading "Set 1 1957" are located on the interior left front tail. The jersey is original as issued and displays moderate wear. Cunningham enjoyed a fine season in 1957, finishing the year with 9 home runs, 52 RBI, and a .318 batting average. A reliable player for twelve seasons, Cunningham ended his career in 1966 with 64 home runs, 436 RBI, and a .291 lifetime average.
