Pittsburgh Penguins home jersey, dating from the 1993-94 to 1995-96 seasons, worn by Hall of Fame center Mario Lemieux. The white-black-and-gold knit jersey features the Penguins team logo on the front and the number "66" on the reverse and each sleeve. "Lemieux" is lettered upon a white nameplate on the reverse, directly above the number. The letter "C" (for captain) appears on the upper left breast. All letters and numerals are applied in black on gold tackle twill. Located in the collar are a "CCM" label and an adjacent "56" size tag. Lemieux's number ("66") and the letter "C" are written on the manufacturer's label in black marker. The jersey is original as issued and displays excellent use, including stick marks on the front. Lemieux is one the greatest players to ever play the sport of hockey, though his career was hampered by injuries and a bout with cancer. He ranked second all-time in goals per game, assists per game, and points per game. He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997 and his uniform number "66" is one of only three ever retired by the Penguins.
