Bench was a 2-time World Champion as a key member of the 1970s "Big Red Machine." The 2-time MVP was also the 1976 World Series MVP. Bench, a 14-time All-Star, batted a lifetime .267, with 388 home runs. The 1968 NL Rookie of the Year was a 2-time NL home run champ. On defense, Bench had a cannon arm, with great accuracy. He was a 10-time Gold Glove winner as a catcher. The offered ABC flapless helmet shows great use: scratches and abrasions in various spots and sweat stains on the sweat band. "BENCH" is in vintage red Dymo tape on back. The "C" on front-brim is signed by Bench in black felt tip but is a little light. An American Baseball Cap size 7 5/8 sticker is inside. Also, "7 5/8" is also written inside in black marker. Raised lettering on the inside brim reads, "AMERICAN BASEBALL CAP/MEDIA, PENNA." Bench had a very large hat and helmet size.
