Addendum (February 27th, 11:04 am). Please note that the original description mistakenly stated that the bat is not cracked. The bat has an approximate 9-inch crack in the upper handle that extends into the center brand. That information is clearly stated in the accompanying PSA LOA which is posted on our website.
A bat used by baseball legend Reggie Jackson during his 1984 season with the California Angels. The black Adirondack Big Stick bat has a crack in the upper handle and shows great signs of wear with clear ball strikes along the barrel. The lot will include a GU 9 Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA verifying the item's authenticity. Jackson began his career with the Oakland A's, before spending time with Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, and Angels. 38 years-old in 1984, Jackson would hit 25 home runs and record 81 RBIs. He retired following the 1987 season and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 1993.
