A foul ball from the August 4th, 1974, game between the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds where Hank Aaron hit his 714th home run, tying Babe Ruth for the all-time record. The ball comes from the collection of Ron Roth, who caught the ball and would later become the official scorer for the Reds. The item will also come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Roth. The Official National League Ball (Feeney) reads, "Caught off the bat of Pete Rose, April 4th, 1974. The same game Hank Aaron tied Babe Ruth's home run record." Aaron would go on to break the all-time home run record just a few days later on April 8th.
