Circa 1914, an ashtray in the shape of New Haven, Connecticut's Yale Bowl. The green and white ashtray is in very good shape for an item that is over 100 years old. The reverse side shows that the item was made by Lenox and the inscription reads: F.J. Cuthbertson successor to A.F. Wylie New Haven - The Yale Bowl Built by The Yale Committee of Twenty-One Inc. 1914. The stadium has been the home to the Yale Bulldogs since its inception and was the home of the New York football Giants in 1973 and 1974 prior to the team moving to Shea Stadium.
