Limited edition Wilt Chamberlain signed Sports Porcelain statue. This piece is notable both for its rarity and size. Similar in design to the statues issued by both Salvino and Gartlan, this piece was limited to just 500 pieces. It is also 9.5" wide and 11" high, which is larger than both the standard Salvino and Gartlan statues. Chamberlain's black marker signature (grading 9/10) appears on the white signature panel affixed to the middle of the base. The offered statue has been removed from its original wood base (glue remnants remain on the underside), where the limitation number was placed. While we do not know the exact limitation number for this piece, we do know, having seen others, that only 500 were produced by Sports Porcelain. With the exception of the removal of the original wood base, the piece remains in Excellent to Mint condition. Full LOA from JSA.
