A gold medal from the 1994 FIBA World Basketball Championships that has been attributed to Shaquille O'Neal. The medal, which features a purple strap, reads World Championship, Toronto, August 1994. The reverse of the medal reads, The Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto. The medals were not engraved with player's names, but this specific medal has been attributed to Shaquille O'Neal. After helping Team USA to the FIBA championship in 1994, O'Neal would go on to play for Team USA in the 1996 Olympic Games, again winning a gold medal.
