The Central Red Army Team is a Russian professional ice hockey team based in Moscow. It plays in the Tarasov Division of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), and it has won more Soviet and European Championships than any other club in history. Presented is a 1992 signed photo of the famous Central Red Army Hockey Team. The signing took place on April 17, 1992, in the first year after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The visible portion of the color photo measures 14.9x18.8", framed to 16.5x20.4". Front Row: #6 Namestnikov, #16 Oktyabrev (7th round NHL draft pick by Winnipeg Jets), #4 Gorenko, #8 Zolotov (6th round - Philadelphia Flyers), #27 Vailyev, #9 Gordyuk. MIDDLE ROW: #30 Naumov, #19 Starostenko (5th round - New York Rangers), #10 Potaychuk (11th round Calgary Flames), #3 Kuznetsov, #14 Petrov, #10 Krivokrasov (first round Chicago Black Hawks), #24 Vinokurov, #1 Khabibulin (9th round - Winnipeg Jets). Goalie Nikolai Khabibulin was nicknamed "The Bulin Wall." He played for six NHL teams and won the 2004 Stanley Cup. The 4-time All-Star had an NHL career GAA of 2.72 and a save percentage of .907. The players in the photo have signed under the team photo, and inscribed their uniform number, with most signatures scripted in blue pencil or fine tip blue marker, with the autographs averaging 7/10. The portion showing the players is in very good condition, with the signature portion (the ice) having some foxing and darkening, but with the autographs still clearly visible.
