Hall of Fame center Shaquille O'Neal played 19 seasons in the NBA, and he is certainly one of the NBA's all-time greats. Presented is the opportunity to own a 1996-97 pair of Shaquille O'Neal game worn Los Angeles Lakers sneakers, from the 24-year-old Shaq's first season with Hollywood's "Show Time" contingent. O'Neal was a 15-time NBA All-Star, an NBA Rookie of the Year and an MVP, a 3-time Finals MVP, and a 4-time NBA Champion. He averaged a career 23.7 PPG and a lifetime 10.9 TRB. In 1996-97 when Shaq game wore these sneakers, he averaged 26.2 PPG and 12.5 TRB. His Lakers team finished in second place in the West Conference with a 56-26 regular season record and reached the West Conference Semi-Final Series, where Los Angeles was defeated by the Utah Jazz, 1-4 in games. Shaq ultimately helped the Lakers to three NBA Championships. The offered Shaq sneakers are Reeboks. Each shoe is black, with white trim and black laces. The outside of each sneaker has a Reebok logo as does the sole of each sneaker. The top outside "tongue" of each shoe has a rough image of Shaq dunking, his body bent at the waist as he jams the basketball. On the top inside of each tongue is a tag reading, "MADE IN CHINA/FABRIQUE EN CHINE/USA 22/UK 20/EUR 59/SAMPLE PYE." Imprinted on the bottom of each sole: "NON MARKING OUTSOLE."
