Presented are four NBA contracts that are signed by club executives who are basketball Hall of Famers.

1) A 1971 New York Knicks contract for rookie center Stephen Niles, signed by Hall of Fame coach Red Holzman. The contract is 7 pages and calls for a salary of $22,000, plus some possible smaller bonuses ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. William "Red" Holzman played professional basketball for the Rochester Royals and the Milwaukee Hawks. As the coach of the New York Knicks, he headed the 1971 and 1973 NBA Championship squads. He signed the contract in blue ink as William Holzman. Niles, drafted in the 1971 NBA Draft in the 4th Round, did not make the Knicks and never played in the NBA.

2) A 1978 Los Angeles Lakers Carlos Terry contract signed and notated by Hall of Famer Bill Sharman, the Lakers' General Manager at that time. The 10-page contract, measuring 8.4x10.9", stipulates a $30,000 salary for Terry. The contract is signed and notated by Bill Sharman, the Hall of Fame shooting guard of the Boston Celtics. Sharman played his rookie NBA season with the Washington Capitols, and then ten seasons with the Boston Celtics, winning four NBA titles with Boston. A shooting guard, Sharman averaged a career 17.8 PPG. He later became a professional coach and won championships in three different pro leagues: APL, ABA, and NBA. Sharman neatly signed in black ink. Terry did not ever play for the Celtics but later played three seasons for the Washington Bullets as a shooting guard.

3) A 1973 New York Knicks contract for small forward F. Tracy Tripucka signed by Hall of Fame coach Red Holzman. The 8.4x10.9" contract has 12 pages, and Tripucka signed for a salary of $22,500. The contract is also signed by New York Knicks Hall of Fame coach Red Holzman. He signed as William Holzman, in blue ballpoint ink. Tracy Tripucka was a 6'5" guard who never played in the NBA. He is the brother of NBA star Kelly Tripucka and the son of NFL quarterback Frank Tripucka.

4) A 1971 Boston Celtics contract for guard Don Chaney signed by Hall of Fame coach Red Auerbach. It is a three-year contract for a total of a total of $140,000. The 8.5x11" contract has six pages. Chaney, a 6'5" shooting guard, played 12 professional seasons, ten of them as a Boston Celtic. He won two NBA Championships with the Celtics as a player, and he won the 1991 NBA Coach of the Year Award as the skipper of the Houston Rockets. Arnold "Red" Auerbach, the long-time NBA Hall of Fame Boston Celtics coach and executive, and in 1971 an executive with the Boston Celtics, signed the contract in blue ballpoint ink.
