Presented is a multi-signed photograph of four immortal Hall of Fame center fielders who achieved baseball's Pantheon primarily for their extraordinary play on New York City teams. On the offered photo, left-to-right: Willie Mays, of the New York Giants; Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio, of the New York Yankees; Duke Snider, of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Mays is regarded by quite a number of baseball pundits as the best all-around player in history. "The Say Hey Kid" was a marvelous five-tool player who could hit, hit with power, run, field, and throw. He batted a career .301 with 660 home runs. He led the NL four times in home runs and four times in stolen bases and was a 2-time NL MVP and the best player on the 1954 New York Giants World Champions. Mantle was part of the three NYC center fielders who comprised the refrain of Terry Cashman's iconic baseball anthem: "Talkin' Baseball," in which "Willie, Mickey, and the Duke" is the key recurring phrase.

Mantle has more home runs than any other switch-hitter in history (536), and the two-man chase (with Roger Maris) of Babe Ruth's then single-season home run record of 60 in '61 was a home run race for the ages. Joe DiMaggio was the New York Yankee center fielder before Mantle, and DiMaggio still holds the all-time Major League consecutive game hitting streak of 56 games, set in 1941.

DiMaggio was such a fundamentally sound player that there were a number of commentators who stated that they never saw DiMaggio make a mistake in judgment on a baseball field. Snider, as the other pictured center fielders, was a fantastic all-around player. He was known for his leaping grabs of fly balls that would have been homers except for his airborne catches above outfield walls. For years, Snider was Brooklyn's primary left-handed slugger, and he hit 407 home runs, with a career .295 batting average.

The offered photo is primarily in black & white. Superimposed in front of a background of the famous right field wall of Brooklyn's Ebbets Field, individual photos of the four great center fielders have been separately placed in front of the Ebbets Field background. Each of the four Hall of Famers signed his photo, in neat big, and bold script, in blue Sharpie. The 11x14" photo has been matted and framed to 18.1x20.1". On the top, three pins, one each of the Giants, Yankees, and Dodgers, have been affixed. On the offering's bottom is a 1x6.5" plaque, which reads, "Baseball's All-Time Greats/WILLIE MAYS -MICKEY MANTLE - JOE DIMAGGIO - DUKE SNIDER." The offering is in EXCELLENT condition, and it comes with a PSA LOA for the signatures.
