An original wrapper from a pack of 1948-49 Leaf All-Star Baseball gum cards. The 3 1/2 x 7" wrapper is white, with red and blue stars running down along the border. The item is in nice condition, especially considering its age with a very small hole near the middle. This Leaf set was notable for being the first color set printed following World War II. The set featured desirable rookie cards for players like Stan Musial, Jackie Robinson, Ralph Kiner, Larry Doby, Satchel Paige, and Hal Newhouser.
