Presented is a Wade Boggs game used bat that was used during the 1997 season. The Rawlings 456BM model bat is 34.5" long and weighs 32 ounces. "WADE BOGGS" is printed on the barrel of the bat above "YANKEES." The bat is uncracked with evidence of heavy use as there are several ball marks on the barrel of the bat. Boggs's number 12 is written on the knob of the bat in black ink, and there is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The bat is signed by Boggs in silver Sharpie. Boggs included "'97' GAME USED, 103 HITS, 4 HR's, .292" below his signature. Boggs played for the Yankees from 1993 to 1997 and was part of the Yankees World Series championship team in 1996.
