Presented is a Wade Boggs 1998 game used bat.The Louisville Slugger B349 bat is 34.25" long and weighs 31.6 ounces. "WADE BOGGS" is engraved on the barrel of the bat above "TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS." The bat is uncracked with evidence of outstanding use. There are ball marks, ink marks, and chips in the barrel of the bat. There is also a large chip on the top barrel. Boggs's number 12 is written on the knob of the bat. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The bat is signed by Boggs in silver Sharpie. Boggs included "'98" below his signature. Boggs played on the Devil Rays for the final two seasons of his career. During this time, he hit the first home run in Devil Rays' history and collected his 3,000th career hit.
