Collection of eight black-and-white large-format original LIFE magazine news photos documenting the 1966 World Series between the Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Dodgers, plus three additional large-format news photos depicting members of the Orioles. Each of the eight 1966 World Series photos (13x10.25") features a "Time-Life" credit stamp on the reverse. Three of the photos picture Frank Robinson in action on the field (two at bat, one rounding the bases after a home run), while the remaining five capture the Orioles locker room celebration after the club's four-game sweep. Excellent condition overall. The remaining three photos consist of the following: 1) Hank Bauer and his coaching staff, circa 1966.
