A vintage Seattle Pilots cap worn by second baseman John Donaldson during the 1969 season. The blue hat is a size 6 7/8" and was made by New Era. Donaldson's number 10 is written on the underside of the brim and the player has also signed the interior band. Included in the lot is a letter from Donaldson verifying the item's authenticity and a signed 8x10" photo of the former infielder. The Pilots franchise was only active in Seattle for one season before becoming the Milwaukee Brewers and as a result, game worn items from the team are quite rare.
