A bat used during the 1987 season by Cincinnati Reds star Dave Concepcion. The shortstop for the Big Red Machine, Concepcion would make 9 All-Star game appearances and win five Gold Gloves. Concepcion and second basemen Joe Morgan are considered to be one of the best middle-infield combinations in baseball history. The natural-colored bat has the player's number 13 written on the knob and shows extensive use. The Louisville Slugger model C311 would grade out as a 10/10 if not for a crack and repair on the bat's handle. Concepcion would spend his entire 18-year career in Cincinnati, retiring in 1988. He is a member of both the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame.
