A blue New England Patriots jersey worn by running back Sam Gash during the 1996 season. The front tail tag shows that the garment was made by Starter and the size 50 is handwritten. The jersey shows tremendous use with 7 team repairs counted along with paint transfers and loose threads. The item will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Patriots Pro Shop. Gash has signed and inscribed the jersey on reverse side, writing "1996 AFC CHAMPS!" and "1996 GAME WORN!" Gash played for the Patriots from 1992-97 and retired in 2004.
