Displayed is a 1985 George Brett Kansas City Royals signed World Series ceremonial limited edition bat and a George Brett signed limited edition ceremonial blue chrome baseball. Hall of Famer Brett was a third baseman and first baseman who played his entire 21-year career with the Kansas City Royals (1973-93). Brett was a 13-time All-Star who won three batting titles, and he was a 3-time Silver Slugger. He made a run at a .400 season in 1980, when he was above .400 for much of the season and finished at .390. Brett was on the Kansas City 1981 World Champions. The ceremonial bat has a length of 33.75" and a weight of 35.1 ounces. The barrel is painted in royal blue. Etched on the barrel: "World Series 1985" with an MLB logo. Also etched on the barrel is the Kansas City Royals' logo and the game results for each of the seven games in the '85 World Series, won in seven games by the Royals over the St. Louis Cardinals. Also etched on the barrel: The Louisville Slugger logo and "Limited 2 of 25." Brett signed the bat with a big and bold, neatly written signature in white marker. On the barrel is a sticker reading, BCC64862506. Official American League Ball. The chrome baseball has "NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME" machine stamped on a side panel. Also, on the ball is a "Beckett Witnessed" sticker (WU88272). The knob has a "Beckett Witnessed" sticker (WU88239). This limited-edition ceremonial ball has "7/100" hand marked by an unknown hand. The ball also comes with a Beckett COA for the signature. Brett signed the ball on the sweet spot in white marker. The ball has a few small spots on the "seams" that exhibit some minor bubbling, but aside from the aforementioned imperfections, the ball is in EXCELLENT condition.
