Rare pair of 1915 Kames advertising broadsides featuring Federal League games. These two cardboard displays, printed by Kames' Publishing Company (producer of the Kames Official Score Card), feature the daily box scores for several professional baseball leagues, including the American League, National League, and Federal League. These broadsides were printed daily and were meant to be displayed in retail establishments and newsstands. The offered examples are dated, respectively, April 24, 1915, and June 8, 1915. In addition to the daily box scores, the broadsides also display the league standings and advertising for various businesses, most of which are in the Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, areas (Kames was based in Wilkes-Barre). The April display (18x13") is toned and displays numerous heavy vertical folds. The June display (12x17") is toned and displays numerous tears along the perimeter, including several areas of paper loss, plus pencil notations on the reverse. Fair condition overall.
