A gray and red flannel Cincinnati Reds hat worn by Jim O'Toole around the 1960 season. The cap is in great condition but also shows terrific signs of use. The inside label of the hat shows that it was manufactured by Wilson in 1960 and is a size 7 1/2. O'Toole's number 31 has also been stenciled to the inside of the cap. O'Toole, a pitcher in the big leagues for 10 seasons, spent the first nine of them, (1958-66) with the Reds. His best season came in 1963 when he was the starting pitcher for the National League in the All-Star game. The pitcher is a member of the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame.
