Presented is a Mariano Rivera game-worn and autographed jersey that was worn during the 2008 season. This New York Yankees home jersey has the 2008 All-Star Game logo patch sewn into the right sleeve, and the Yankees 1923-2008 patch sewn into the left sleeve. Also on the left sleeve is a black armband that the Yankees wore to honor former Yankee Bobby Murcer, who passed away in July 2008. A Majestic Authentic Collection patch is sewn into the front left tail of the jersey. Attached to the patch is a 2008 tag, and a size 48 tag. Rivera signed the jersey with a thin-tipped blue marker on the left chest, below the interlocking NY Yankees logo. He also added the inscription, "Exit Sandman." Rivera's number 42 is sewn into the back of the jersey. The MLB logo is sewn into the jersey above the number. The jersey comes with a MEARS Letter of Authenticity.
