Presented is a Nolan Ryan game worn California Angels hat. Ryan wore this hat sometime during the 1970s. The New Era model hat includes the Angels logo and red "A" with a halo, and shows heavy game use. Ryan's number 30 is written on the underside of the bill with black marker. A 3-inch crack is visible on the underside middle part of the bill. The crack intersects the "3" and "0." There is also a 2.5" crack to the left of the larger one. The size tag has been cut out of the hat, and there are sweat stains on the inside brim. Ryan played for the Angels from 1972 through 1979, and he can be seen wearing this style hat on his 1977 Topps card.
