Incredible archive of player photos from within the first three years of the Cleveland Cavaliers being in the NBA, and from the photographer that took the images. For each player, there are two items. One is a board with four pieces: 1) Cavs logo. 2) Player name. 3) Headshot on top left. 4) Full photo on right. Second is the original negative that the photographer took of the entire piece. Players include: Austin Carr, Jimmy Cleamons, Barry Clemens, Walt Wesley, John Warren, Dave Sorenson, Dwight Davis, John Johnson, Steve Patterson, Charlie Davis, Rick Roberson, Bingo Smith. The jersey style was first worn in 1970-71 (first year in the NBA) and last worn in 1973-74 season. All players were on the team in 1972 and for some, it was either their first or last year with the team. Rick Roberson wore #30 in 1971 but switched to #35 in 1972, so it's possible these were taken before the season. Negatives measure about 8x10" and the boards measure about the same. Consigned by the photographer who took the images and gives us a glimpse into the beginning of the Cavs organization.
