Official NFL football signed in black ink by thirty-three members of the 1963 Green Bay Packers. This high-grade team ball has a unique provenance. Our consignor's father-in-law was a neighbor of Packers Hall of Fame guard Jerry Kramer at the time and Kramer personally presented him with this ball in 1963 as a souvenir commemorating the Packers' first two World Championships under legendary coach Vince Lombardi. The Official NFL ball, which is specially stamped "Green Bay Packers 1961-62 World Champions" on a side panel, remains in Excellent condition overall. The signatures are all boldly scripted over three panels and grade 8/10 on average. Included are the signatures of Starr, Taylor, J. Kramer, Davis, Gregg, Thurston, Wood, Adderley, Jordan, R. Kramer, McGee, Aldridge, Carpenter, Bratkowski, Inman, Henry, Grimm, Gremminger, Roach, Moore, Holler, Robinson, Whittenton, Hanner, Gros, Skoronski, Norton, Carpenter, Smith, Jeter, Bengston (coach), Hecker (coach), Fears (coach) and one other. The signature of head coach Vince Lombardi, which once adorned the same panel as that of the other coaches, must have been scripted with a different writing instrument because it has faded completely (only a faint impression of the signature remains visible).
