Each of the shoes is marked by pen on the inside, noting that they are training shoes for the upcoming fight. The items were acquired by Steve Lott, who served as Tyson's assistant manager up until his June, 1988, fight against Michael Spinks. The shoes will come with a Letter of Authenticity, signed by Lott, verifying the item as an important piece of memorabilia from the early days of Tyson's career.
