Circa 1969-70 Buffalo Bisons AHL game used jersey is attributed to forward Ron Attwell. The highlight of this road red specimen is the highly popular "bottlecap" logo crest sewn to the chest, with alternate captain's "A" sewn on the left breast. A local Pepsi distributor - who also owned the Bisons - masterfully cross-promoted the brands, using the iconic red, white, and blue bottlecap design of the cola, and replacing the name with a similar-styled "Buffalo." Shredded Dick Fischer Sporting Goods tag is in the collar along with an illegible size tag, number 8 is sewn to the sleeves and back in white-on-blue tackle twill. Nice use is evident including general wear from laundering, some shredding at the end of each sleeve, light discoloration of the white hem, and a prominent team repair on the right shoulder. Attwell played three seasons with the Bisons from 1967-68 to '69-70, and played a handful of games in the NHL for the New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues.
