Official American League (Johnson) baseball signed in black fountain pen by approximately twenty members of the 1925 Philadelphia Athletics, including Connie Mack (twice; Mgr.), Mickey Cochrane (sweet spot), Bing Miller, Jimmy Dykes, Eddie Rommel (sweet spot), Slim Harriss (sweet spot), Rube Walberg, Earle Mack (coach), Charlie Engle, and Jack Quinn. The year, 1925, is written in black ink on a side panel. The signatures are all very faint, averaging 2/10, with several faded beyond legibility. The ball has been coated with a heavy layer of protective shellac. Good condition.
