Circa 1940s/1950s Nokona hard-shell football helmet housed in its original retail box. The white helmet features a large white-leather strip running down the center, stamped on the back of which is the Nokona logo and model number, 2WA. A cloth suspension head harness is featured on the interior, along with leather jaw pads sewn directly onto the sides. The helmet size, 7, is stamped on an interior harness piece. Complete with the original leather chin strap. The helmet, which has never been used, displays several minor surface blemishes and a small tear in the center of the chin strap. Aside from those minor condition anomalies, the helmet appears much as it did when it was originally produced. The original box (8.25x9.5x9.75"), which features a large Nokona label on the front and is complete with its original lid, displays uneven toning, a small edge tear, and a few moderate creases. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
