Tony Conigliaro was a promising young outfielder who burst onto the scene with the Boston Red Sox in the 1960s. He quickly became one of the team's standout players, setting records and earning All-Star honors at a young age but his career was tragically cut short in 1967 when he was hit in the face by a pitch. Here we have an incredibly difficult single-signed ball of Tony on the sweet spot without personalization or inscription. The signature boasts 8/10 and is considered to be one of the finest known Conigliaro-signed baseballs in the hobby. Signed on Official American League baseball (Cronin) that dates to 1960-69 and is in very good to excellent condition. Comes with PSA LOA.
