1971 Topps empty 24-count wax display box pair. One box has "Extra! Insert in Each Pack!" on the front panel while the other has "Extra! Real Metal Baseball Coin in each pack!" on the front flap with a likeness of a Pete Rose coin. Both boxes have color images of Johnny Bench; Boog Powell; Bob Gibson; and Yaz on the top flap. The boxes are predominately black just like the 1971 cards. Red, yellow, blue, and white lettering complement the black background. Both box bottoms have a cutout coupon (not cut) for the Bazooka Gift Catalog. The plain "motto" box exhibits general shelf wear to the corners and panels with minor color rubbing on the rear panel. The top die-cut is unpunched. The "coin" box exhibits moderate shelf wear to the corners and panels. The box bottom has a significant crease running horizontally the length of the box with two punctures near the bottom left corner. There is also a crease on one side panel. The top edge of the die-cut flap is punched but the sides are not.
