Presented is a rare James Harrison bumblebee-style Pittsburgh Steelers game worn jersey. This jersey was worn by Harrison on October 9, 2016, vs. the New York Jets. The Steelers defeated the Jets 31-13. The Nike jersey is size 48 with the year 2012 in the collar tag. The jersey was tagged for the 2012 season, and since these old-style jerseys were only used in one game a year, there were plenty of blank jerseys that were lettered up each year. This jersey was one of those blanks that was held over from 2012 and used in 2016. As for the style, the unique and eye-catching "bumblebee" design includes yellow and black horizontal stripes, paying homage 1933 team, the Steelers' inaugural season. Harrison's number 92 appears on both sides of the jersey, with a black 9 and 2 in a white rectangular box with black trim around the box. Beneath the nameplate on the back of the jersey, Harrison signed his name on the 9 with a silver Sharpie. He also included 92 beneath his signature. On the 2, Harrison included the inscription, "2016 Game Used 10-9-16 vs Jets," pinpointing this jersey to this exact game. Heavy use is displayed, including scuffs, ball marks on the front, and some paint transfers on the shoulders. Accompanying the jersey is a letter from TotalSports Enterprises that has been signed by Harrison. The letter states that Harrison wore the jersey on 10/9/16, that no alterations have been made to the jersey, and that Harrison autographed the jersey on March 3, 2017.
