Nice single-signed baseball from the 7th Commissioner of Major League Baseball, A Bartlett "Bart" Giamatti. Official American League (Brown) ball is crisp and white in NM condition with bold stampings, signed "Bart Giamatti" in 8/10 blue ballpoint ink on the sweet spot. Giamatti's tenure was brief but memorable, as he passed away from a heart attack just five months after his start. Though he remains the shortest-serving commissioner in history, he was in the hot seat after banning All-Time Hits leader Pete Rose for gambling (with Rose's agreement) in 1989. PSA LOA.
