Tom Seaver, also known as "Tom Terrific," was one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. He achieved his 300th win on August 4, 1985, while playing for the Chicago White Sox. This milestone solidified his place in baseball lore, as only a select few pitchers have reached the 300-win mark throughout the history of the game. Here we have an actual baseball used in that very game and signed by Tom on the side panel with inscription,"#300, 9-4-85." Ball itself is an Official Bobby Brown American League ball that shows appropriate use. Although this is not the ball that recorded the last out, it was used in the historic game. Seaver went on to win 311 games in his career. COA from PSA (with corresponding hologram label affixed to the ball).
