Nice boxing loving cup style trophy dating back nearly a century. The front is engraved, "Plantation Trophy, Presented by Pancho Villa, Fly-Weight Champion of the World, March 16 1924." Round base measures 6" in diameter, stands just over 20" tall. Made from what appears to be a silver plated non-magnetic material and features a maker's mark that reads, "Derby Cup International Co" stamped under base with numbers 20 and 425, and EDWM symbols in Olde English also engraved. Tarnish testifies to the age of this stately offering, and will present even nicer with a thorough cleaning.
