This beautiful sample card sources from the turn of the century and was originally used by printing companies to show perspective costumers that were interested in letterhead, postcards and other paper products. Embossed examples measures 3.5x4.75", is very ornate and is labeled "No. 1644 J.C." Slight paper loss noticed on the verso from previous display.
