Official National League (Giles) baseball signed in either blue or black ink by thirty members of the 1961 National League All Star team. In 1961, two All-Star Games were played and this ball was signed by the National League squad at the second game, held at Fenway Park on July 31st. Among the signatures featured on this ball are those of Roberto Clemente, Orlando Cepeda (sweet spot), Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, Ernie Banks, Warren Spahn, Willie Mays, Stan Musial, Frank Robinson, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax, Eddie Kasko, Mike McCormick, Ken Boyer, Bill White, Elroy Face, Smokey Burgess, Joey Jay, Gene Mauch (coach), Frank Bolling, Art Mahaffey, Stu Miller, Don Zimmer, and Bob Bailey. Signatures range from 1/10 to 8/10, averaging 6/10 (most of the signatures penned in black ink have faded, some almost to the point of no longer being legible, including Koufax and Drysdale).
