Ellis signed in blue ballpoint; 3) Steve Hamilton - A 6'6" power forward and center, Hamilton also played for the Lakers in the two seasons before the team moved to Los Angeles. He was also a Major League pitcher, with six teams. Mostly a middle reliever, he had a 40-31 lifetime record. He is one of only 13 athletes to have played both in the Major Leagues and the NBA. Hamilton signed in blue ballpoint; 4) Rudy LaRusso - A 6'7" power forward, LaRusso played for the Minneapolis/Los Angeles Lakers from 1959-67, and then for the San Francisco Warriors from 1967-69. He averaged 15.4 PPG in the NBA, and he was a top-flight rebounder. LaRusso signed in black ink; 5) Jim Krebs - A center, Krebs played for the Minneapolis/Los Angeles Lakers from 1957-64. He was noted for his hard, physical play. Krebs signed in fine tip black marker; 6) Bob "Slick" Leonard - A 6'3" point guard, Leonard played for the Minneapolis Lakers from 1956-60 and for the Los Angeles Lakers in 1960-61. Overall, the photos are in great shape, with the exception of a long fold in the right margin and some small folds in the top left corner of the Steve Hamilton photo. All of the photos are approx. 8x10". The images make a fine set of vintage Lakers Type I photos, spanning the franchise's final years in Minneapolis and the club's early years in Los Angeles.
