Original Type I photograph, dating from the 1950s, signed by former Marshall basketball coach Jule Rivlin. PSA has encapsulated the photo, certifying the autograph as Authentic and the photo as Type I Authentic. Rivlin's signature is scarce, especially on a photo, and this is the first such example we can recall having seen. Rivlin is pictured holding a basketball as he poses with an unidentified Marshall player. He has inscribed the photo, "Sincerely Coach Rivlin," in blue fountain pen, with the signature grading 8/10. Rivlin was Marshall's basketball coach from 1955 to 1963, winning 100 games during his eight seasons with the school. A graduate of Marshall, Rivlin also played three seasons in the NBA before beginning his coaching career. The photo (10x8") remains in Excellent to Mint condition.
