Brooklyn Dodgers program scored for the club's final game of the season against the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 30, 1956. This game was significant as the club's 8-6 win clinched the pennant. In addition, Jackie Robinson recorded his final career regular-season home run. The program has been neatly scored in pencil and includes Robinson's solo home run in the third inning. The game also featured two home runs each by Duke Snider and Sandy Amoros. An erroneous ink notation, reading "9/29/56 Won the Pennant" appears at the base of the Dodgers scoring sheet (the game recorded here occurred on September 30th). The twenty-page program (6x9.75") displays a tiny edge tear on the front cover and is otherwise in Excellent condition.
